How it works

One local video, from post to application.

HoodReel is a pilot for shops in the U.S. and Canada. The sample gigs are in Chicago. A shop can type another city, including a Canadian one, when posting.

  1. 1

    A shop posts one video

They name the city, the platform, and either a creator budget or a product trade. A new cash gig shows the creator budget plus 10% before anyone is contacted.

  2. 2

    A nearby creator applies

Find Creators lists real accounts: name, city, niche, a self-reported follower count, and a rate. The profile link stays hidden until the shop pays. If a city has no creators, the page says so. Three matches are not guaranteed.

  3. 3

    Accept, pay, then message

A simulated payment lets a shop practice. It is not a real card payment and cannot pay a creator. A real card payment is a separate paid state. Several creators can be invited, and only one can accept. The creator sends a draft link, then the live post. HoodReel aims to start a real payout within 5 business days after approval. Bank arrival is not guaranteed, and a bank payout is not connected yet.
